At the end of the seventies it was the strongest surf brand of all time, laying the ground work for the future uber brands of Quiksilver, Billabong and Rip Curl.
By the ninties the brand was couhing and convulising and being sold in discount department stores like 'Best and Less'.
But during the eighties, on the North Shore of Hawaii, they were still producing a few gems and this one is a classic. Innovation period gold, glass-on quad-fin/double-bump wing, swallow-tail; 5’-9” x 20-1/4” x 2-3/4”. It is currently being sold on ebay by my friend James in LA.
