Our mysterious anonymous collector has shared some pics with us again, this time of his amazing Bob McTavish 'Blue Bird' collection.
My favorite has got to be the classic single fin pin tail with the old orange diamond 'Surf Dive'n' Ski' logo under the glass from the years when they only had one shop in Waringah Mall, Brookvale. SDS is now part of the 150 door Billabong retail group.
The early 80's double hip thruster is in beautiful condition and has an amazing spray and the San Jaun looks like it could have been made in the back yard of the Byron Bay farm house during the filming of 'Morning of the Earth.
totally agree with you on the SDS pintail although the funky thruster is on the money also - Gary
