McCoys, Cheyne's, Zaps, wing keels and hulls Part 2


Reese from Florida has shared these pics of his early 80's single fin hull built for Cheyne Horan. It was shaped by Bernie Crouch who was at the time a east coast pro from Daytona Beach, Florida. Bernie had Cheyne come stay with him and while Cheyne was in Florida Bernie shaped some boards. 
Reese is pretty sure Cheyne was in the room when this was carved out.

The common perception is that the Star fin and Cheyne's hulls were developed  for small waves.
This wave at Sunset proves that the concept also works in the juice
