Australian made Star Bolt / Lightning Bolt twin fin. Part 2

Although I've had this board for a long time and have been surfing it a fair bit recently and I have even taken it to Fiji, I have never actually photographed it properly or measured it in any detail.
I still haven't measured it but here's a start at the catch up.

Nor have I got around to properly rebuilding the tail. Shame one me.

MR in the early 80's on the board that clearly inspired the spray on this one

The only shapers markings are 6'2" & 140.
Which leaves me guessing as to who was the original shaper.
My guess is Greg Clough at the Aloha factory.

Jake said 'take a photo of this dad'.

this set up was working very well till I lost the whole camera.
It still breaks my heart to think about what good shots I got, then lost, on this day.

smaller, slightly more raked back fins than on my other twinnys

on its way to Frigates reef in Fiji

    1. Doug Bell is an Australian shaper. I have a Channel Islands thruster and a Wave Crest Hawaii both shaped by Doug Bell. I guess Eddie is saying Doug Bell used to shaped aussie Bolts too.
